Choosing the Right Cloud Approach for Your Business

15 July 20265 min read

Cloud strategy discussions often get lost in terminology before addressing the question that actually matters: what does your business need the infrastructure to do?

For most growing businesses, a public cloud approach offers the best balance of cost, flexibility and speed. You pay for what you use, scale up or down as demand changes, and avoid the capital cost of maintaining physical infrastructure.

Businesses with specific regulatory, data residency or performance requirements sometimes need a private or hybrid approach, keeping certain workloads on dedicated infrastructure while still taking advantage of the cloud elsewhere. This isn't the default choice; it's a deliberate one, made for a specific reason.

Whichever approach fits, the underlying priorities are the same: security should be built in from the start, not added afterwards; costs should be visible and predictable, not discovered at the end of the month; and the architecture should be able to scale without a redesign every time the business grows.

The right cloud approach isn't the most advanced one. It's the one that matches your business's actual requirements today, with room to grow into tomorrow's.
